We are seeking an experienced Technical Designer to join our team and support the development of women's jersey multi product including active wear. The role involves creating tech packs and technical CADs, coordinating with the design team and offshore sample rooms, conducting fit sessions, ensuring quality, and managing production costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed tech packs for styles, including garment specs, construction, fabrics, trims, and measurement charts.
- Create technical CADs for internal and external use.
- Serve as the primary liaison between design and offshore sample rooms.
- Lead internal fit sessions, ensuring proper fit, quality, and brand standards.
- Collaborate with production to ensure designs are cost-effective without compromising quality.
- Ensure all products meet high-quality standards and conduct sample checks.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transition from design to sample.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Technical Designer or Garment Tech in women's multi product jersey.
- Strong technical skills in creating tech packs and understanding garment construction.
- CAD skills (Adobe Illustrator preferred).
- Experience with PLM systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of fit, sizing, garment costing, and production processes.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and multitasking abilities.
- Collaborative and proactive team player.
