Job Description
My client is currently looking to recruit a Senior ladieswear account manager to work across several of their large volume accounts with leading retailers. This role will be working across multi product, working closely with design teams on product development . My client is looking for a confident experienced Senior account manager, from a supplier background with a proven track record of success working with high-turnover fashion retailers or supermarkets, possessing strong relationships with buyers, and a keen eye for product.
Main responsibilities will include:
Efficiently manage all orders, ensuring timely execution and delivery
Build, maintain, and nurture relationships with existing clients to maximise order potential
Oversee buyer's requests, including re-sampling and approvals
Ensure all orders align with agreed delivery schedules and expectations
Collaborate closely with production teams and overseas factories on first and final fit samples
Work in partnership with design teams on product development to meet customer needs
Negotiate pricing and delivery schedules with production teams to optimise margins
Maintain a strong understanding of profit margins and collaborate with merchandisers and buyers accordingly
Successfully handle high-volume orders within tight deadlines and a fast-paced environment
Person Specification:
Previous experience in a similar role within a fashion supplier environment
Experience working with overseas markets, particularly Bangladesh and China, is highly advantageous
A dynamic, proactive, and hands-on approach with the ability to think on your feet
Proven ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Exceptional communication skills, with the confidence to liaise effectively with both factories and clients
Outgoing and confident personality, with a results-driven mindset
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
