Merchandiser - Relocate to Sunny Australia

Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Product Planning: Collaborate across departments to define and implement product strategies that align with the brand's vision, quality standards, and market trends.
  • Sales Forecasting & Stock Management: Accurately predict sales and stock levels to hit sales and profit margin targets.
  • Maximise Opportunities: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance intake and profit margins.
  • Trade Analysis & Reporting: Present insights and performance updates during weekly and seasonal trade meetings with senior leadership.
  • Global Alignment: Review regional sales plans, open-to-buy forecasts, and order/re-order schedules to ensure alignment with global category strategies.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Partner with the supply base to drive innovation in production planning and streamline critical path processes.

Person Specifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a Merchandising or Planning role within a fashion retail environment.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and high numerical literacy.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other MS Office tools; experience with reporting tools is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to changing demands and work under pressure.
  • A positive, enthusiastic, and collaborative mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with internal teams and external partners.
