We are delighted to be recruiting for our client who are an established ladieswear brand with a large wholesale and international presence, who are looking to appoint an experienced Merchandiser with wholesale experience working across different platforms.
This role will sit within the Buying and Merchandising division of the business managing key categories from planning through to delivery.
The successful candidate must have some retail merchandising experience working within a wholesale model.
This role offers hybrid working 3/2.
Main responsibilities will include:
Work cross functionally and with partners to communicate what the beliefs are and the range opportunities to shape and drive the partner OTB (across channels and markets).
Review sales orders once selling complete to roll up the buy from all channels/ markets.
Work closely with wholesale and retail partners advising of current global insight to ensure cross channel learnings, stock swop opportunities and driving each channel to trade to their optimum.
Develop a balanced range for your categories with the buying.
Oversee CP meetings for relevant categories to review and manage actual & planned exit dates.
Frequent communication with suppliers, factories, agents/ mills as well as liaison with internal departments when CP dates are at risk and deliveries could be impacted.
Review weekly/monthly/seasonal sales data from global performance.
Work closely with partners and buyers on any new business/product requests to build business out.
Person specification:
Retail Merchandising experience working within a wholesale model.
Understanding of AX, BI and systems.
Good management skills and an excellent communicator.
Strong negotiator with ability to multitask.
Enthusiastic, friendly and a great team player.
