Job Description
We are working with a global fashion brand who are looking for a Junior Merchandiser to join their International department. You will be supporting in the management of the end-to-end process of the critical path along with ensuring strong communication with suppliers as well as supporting the merchandising function with analysis to ensure a balanced and commercial range.
This role would suit someone currently working at a Junior Merchandiser level or Assistant Merchandiser ready for there next step who is ambitious, organised and a great team player, ideally with international merchandising experience, although not essential.
Based in London, this role offers hybrid working.
Main responsibilities will include:
Support in the management of the department critical path with the cross functional counterparts to ensure timely delivery of the product to International partners
Managing shipment approvals
Flagging any risks or opportunities to Senior Merchandiser. Making suggestions and offering solutions to production problems
Supplier analysis for end of season reviews (monitor KPIs)
Support in managing the option framework ensuring a balanced range for all channels and markets
Create necessary trading reports to support global overview of performance weekly/ monthly/ seasonal
Collating orders and maintain order book
Be familiar with product options, and specific needs; collaborate with Buying and Design teams to gain insights into collections, identify growth areas, and incorporate these opportunities into sales appointments
Being present in showroom presentations with during sales events, providing knowledgeable and engaging representation in appointments
Person specification:
Merchandising experience in a fashion environment
International merchandising experience highly advantageous
Good communication & time management skills
Numerate & a, intermediate level on Excel
Organised with ability to multitask and work under pressure
Strong in decision-making
Friendly and a team player
Demonstrates initiative in driving growth, exploring new opportunities, and continuously improving processes
