My client, one of the UK's leading womenswear suppliers to major retailers, they are looking for a driven and dynamic Account Manager to join their growing team. And to work alongside a senior account manager . This is a fantastic chance to work across multiple product categories, supporting key accounts and playing a vital role in the business's continued success. This role would suit someone form a fashion supplier background at junior account manager or sales coordinator role or from a buying background . This role offers hybrid working with at least 3 days in the office .
Main responsibilities will include
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key retail accounts.
- Working closely with overseas factories, ensuring seamless daily communication.
- Handling initial costings, negotiating first prices, and managing deliveries.
- Attending buyer meetings, discussing pricing, delivery schedules, and product feedback.
- Collaborating with design teams to develop and refine products for customers.
- Managing the critical path and ensuring orders are handled efficiently.
Person Specification
- Ladieswear experience within a fashion supplier or a buying background (Assistant Buyer level or above).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills - comfortable liaising with factories and clients.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills to support multiple account managers.
- Confident, proactive, and passionate about product development.
