Job Description
A new opportunity has arisen to join my client, a leading supplier who are extremely well respected in the industry. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an enthusiastic dynamic person to come on board as a Senior Designer working across ladies licensed nightwear.
Previous licensed experience is highly advantageous but not essential, previous Primark experience is required for this role with the ability of having a strong eye for fashion and to work at pace in a busy design environment.
Main Responsibilities will include:
Designing ladies' licensed graphics and shape for high street customers.
Generation of artwork for product sampling/sample management.
Detailed seasonal and ongoing research for future and current trend.
Direct customer and licensor liaison, inc. attendance in buyer development meetings, licensing trade shows, licensing.
Interpreting customer trends to design and create suitable ranges that are commercially sound.
Overseeing and developing print and graphic trend boards in collaboration with the design teams and multiple departments
Producing accurate and detailed CAD drawings for sampling and presenting both to customers/buyers
Person Specifications:
Experience working with Primark.
Strong experience and passion for fashion licensed graphics and shape design
Good working knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop imperative.
Highly organised and capable of working to and managing deadlines.
Excellent communication skills.
Self-motivated and possess initiative and self-reliance, but also the ability to work as part of a team.
