A brilliant opportunity has arisen for my client who is a market leading supplier based in Leicester. They are looking for an Production Merchandiser who has some relevant experience within the fashion sector.
They want someone who is incredibly has great attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines who will manage every process from confirming the orders, raising PO's all the way through to delivery. Reporting into the Senior Merchandiser you can learn a lot in the role and help support across critical path, liaising with factories and customers.
Main Responsibilities will include:
Manage the Critical Path for all customer orders to ensure deliveries are made on time.
Raise purchase orders and liaise with customers RE approvals and delivery schedules.
Analyse market trends, keeping up to date with fashion trends and competitor analysis.
Work closely with the sales, marketing and design team.
Getting customer prices, negotiating prices and sending specs out for quotes.
Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers.
Person Specification:
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, Business, or related field.
Preferably to have experience in a wholesale / production merchandising role.
Communication and Customer Service skills.
Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
Attention to detail and organisational skills.
