We have a great opportunity for Men's woven shirt designer to join a successful fashion brand . My client is looking for a commercial trend led designer with a focused on woven. The successful candidates will be part of a talented and growing team and will need to be confident to participate in customer meetings.
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years design experience with a strong woven background within smart casual menswear from either a retailer or supplier.Friday's working from home .

Main Responsibilities will include:
You will identify and translate the must-have trends for smart casual men's fashion.
Attend presentations as and when required.
Understand garment construction and production constraints.
Sourcing new fabrics and developing newness.
Produce detailed tech packs and liaise with overseas factories.
Develop new trims and fabrics.
Identify and update bestsellers to drive repeat business.
Manage Sampling and Development of Critical Path.
Person Specification:
Must have at least 2 years of designing commercial menswear.
A strong background and understanding on woven fabrication
Mens shirting experience
Experience working with overseas factories.
Confident presenting to a team and clearly demonstrate where your inspiration is coming from
Excellent CAD skills ideally with Photoshop and Illustrator.
Able to work on your own - take initiative and work as part of a team.
