Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop styles aligned with trends and design briefs, collaborating with the wider team.

  • Support buyers in sourcing fabrics to respond to in-season trade opportunities.

  • Ensure timely delivery of critical paths and operational plans.

  • Create innovative product ranges that reflect brands vision and handwriting.

  • Provide detailed style direction, enhance existing products, and propose new opportunities.

  • Guide buyers on product aesthetics, materials, and first fits.

  • Contribute to product strategy, marketing plans, and range development.

  • Research market trends, suppliers, competitors, and customer segments.

  • Present concepts, colour palettes, and silhouettes.

  • Update bestselling styles and capitalize on trends in collaboration with the buying team.

  • Understand brand positioning, customer demographics, and propose innovative ideas.

  • Build ranges that balance innovation, flexibility, quality, and pricing.

  • Build strong relationships across teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Person Specifications:

  • 5+ years' experience in womenswear apparel design.

  • Proven leadership in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

  • Expertise in fabrics, raw materials, garment construction, and international markets.

  • Strong critical path knowledge and commercial awareness.

  • Proficiency in design software (InDesign, Illustrator, CAD, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Office.
