Working closely with mills, suppliers, and internal teams, you'll oversee fabric development from concept to production-ensuring all materials align with legal regulations, ethical sourcing practices, and performance expectations. If you're a fabric expert with a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to innovation and integrity, this is your chance to make your mark with a fashion brand that values both creativity and responsibility.

Main Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Checking lab reports to make sure our materials are up to scratch
  • Ensuring all fabrics follow environmental and safety regulations (e.g., OEKO-TEX, REACH, GOTS)
  • Working with suppliers and factories to keep things compliant and sustainable
  • Helping to resolve any fabric issues quickly and effectively
  • Keeping our records and certifications organised and up to date
  • Visiting factories and mills to check that they're meeting chemical safety and environmental standards
  • Helping factory teams set up proper testing and chemical handling systems that meet buyer and industry expectations

Person Specifications:

  • A degree in Textile Science, Fabric Technology or similar
  • 3-5 years of experience in a fabric or textile role, ideally with a supplier, mill, or brand
  • Strong knowledge of fabrics, finishes, and how they perform
  • Familiarity with global testing and compliance standards
  • A solid understanding of sustainability certifications like GOTS and OEKO-TEX
  • Great communication skills and a keen eye for detail
