A fantastic new opportunity has become available for a Graduate to work on Kidswear as a Design Admin Assistant to join a leading UK supplier to major high street retailers to work on several of their key accounts. This role is to cover from young kids to teenagers.
This role will be working with a lovely team of established designers and offers great career progression.
Main Responsibilities Will Include:
- Research fashion trends, producing trend boards, catwalks, and sketches.
- Design seasonal capsule collections along with key shapes, colour palettes, and fabric direction.
- Source & order fabric from mills in China and follow up to ensure they arrive in a timely manner.
- Research and source new design ideas & fabrics/trims day to day.
- Design and develop commercial and fashion-forward products for range and clients.
- Attend regular design meetings with the Sales Manager and customers when required.
Person Specification:
- Commercial Graduate Designer
- Strong organisational skills and able to work under pressure.
- Commercially savvy with excellent on-trend knowledge.
- Fully computer literate in Photoshop and Illustrator
- A keen eye for detail.
- Have an interest in fashion and keep up to date with fashion trends.
