Our client is seeking experienced Fashion Buyers across all levels and product categories based in Australia who are open to an incredible opportunity to relocate to Los Angeles, California. Our client is a globally recognised, trend lead apparel and lifestyle brand with state-of-the-art headquarters in LA and they are looking to expand their talented team with top-tier buyers.

Main Responsibilities include:
- Identify and analyse fashion trends to forecast future buying needs.
- Deliver fashion forward ranges that aligns with the company's brand and target market.
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to ensure you have a balanced range based, having analysed sales in-season and post-season to identify strength and weaknesses.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis across all social media platforms to stay informed about industry trends and pricing strategies.
- Negotiate prices, quantities, and delivery terms with suppliers to secure the best deals and achieve financial targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, designers, and wholesalers.
- Attend fashion shows, trade fairs, and supplier meetings to stay current with the latest fashion trends and new products.
- Participate in open-to-buy (OTB) meetings with Merchandisers to ensure the department achieves financial targets for sales and profitability.
Person Specification:
- 5 - 7+ years of experience in Buying for apparel, ideally within an eCommerce fashion brand.
- Strong understanding of fashion trends, consumer behaviour, and the market.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with suppliers across quality, costs, and delivery dates.
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion or equivalent work experience.
