A Shipping/Stock Assistant preferably comes from a Logistics or Production background, preferably within a retail environment. Sitting within the Production department of a company, the logistics/shipping assistant will usually report to the Production Manager.
This individual is responsible for ensuring that stock is picked and assigned to the correct stores of the company. As a logistics/shipping assistant, it is your responsibility to ensure that all shipments are sent on time and correct. Within the job of logistics/shipping assistant, you will be liaising with all departments in regard to shipping schedules for all stores
