A pattern cutter's job is to draft, draw and cut out sets of patterns as communicated by the Design Team for the specified ranges of garments. They must take into consideration, their job is to translate the design into a garment, working out the paneling, sizes, grading, the fit of a garment along with the fabric and potentially being used. They must also consider the finishing’s, trim as well as grain.
