An Area Manager has operational and financial responsibility for a defined region/area. This can be geographical or comprised of a number of locations and stores. Duties include defining sales targets, setting financial goals, and working with senior department or location managers. The Area Manager is responsible for budgets, quality, hiring and training. Will require knowledge of office software packages and spreadsheet software along with an excellent understanding of business finance principles. A degree in Business Management or Finance would be preferable for this role.
